Rule #1 in business, “Take Care Of Your Customers” or they will look somewhere else. People love to shop but hate to be sold, but the same thing is true when it’s time to check out. We get people all the time calling us because they wanted to place an order for a product, but since we live in the age of technology, things sometimes happen that is beyond our control where they cannot place the order online so the customer tries to call their customer manager to place the order… but their customer manager does not pick up the phone, so the customer ends up calling us.
I don’t know how many times I have transferred preferred customers to our account simply because the customer could not get in touch with them. Your phone is your lifeline in business and you should have it near you at all times. We operate a home based business, yes, but when we go out we transfer our business line to our cell phone so we do not miss any important business calls. Take care of your customers and they will pay you back many times over.
